Many people consider the day their child was born the happiest day in their life. In the world's wealthier countries, that is. In poorer countries, the day a child born is all too often the day its mother dies. In high-fertility countries in sub-Saharan Africa, women have a one in 16 chance of dying in childbirth. In low-fertility countries in Europe, this number is one in 2,000 and in North America it's one in 3,500.
I think its high time we all individually or collectively Stand Up and Take some action
Regarding this.

This will help all you people on this blog to do something along with the United Nations in your locality.

According to the 1948 UN Convention on Genocide, the prevention of birth of a specific group is tantamount to the infliction of genocide on that group.

In the widespread killing of new born female infants as well as the gender selected abortion of potential daughters what this systematic elimination of India women amount to -- IS GENOCIDE.

We have an international campaign online at www.50millionmissing.in. There is a petition in the announcement box urging the Indian government to take action. Please do sign and support this campaign.
